On 19th March 2007, the Solemnity of St Joseph, the 150th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone was celebrated with Mass and a party.
This began a two-year period of preparation for the 150th anniversary of the church's dedication, which will be on 30th June 2009. This will be a great occasion when the congregation will be able to make a fresh commitment to those principles on which the parish was founded, 'the breaking of bread and prayers' in 'a house of prayer for all nations'.
