Ecumenical, Inter-Faith and Community Relationships
St Thomas’s plays an active role in the ecumenical group ‘Churches Together in Lower Colne Valley’, the Paddock Community Forum and the Parish Priest is the Inter-Faith Advisor to the Bishop of Wakefield.

Local Community Groups
The church and church hall are home to a number of groups and organizations:

    KRAFT - an organization which supports refugees and asylum seekers from
                the Kirklees area and beyond.

    Ethiopian Orthodox Community - services held on alternate Sundays
                                                - see the Events page for details

    Djembeat - learn to play African drums.

    Huddersfield People’s Choir - a friendly community choir.
                                           - no need to read music - just enjoy singing.

    Domino Club - meets in the church hall on Saturday and Sunday nights.

    Stamp Fair - 09:30 to 16:00 in the narthex on the first Saturday in the month.
                    - worldwide new issue and first day cover services available.

A new range of cards is available in the shop, with three designs from Saint Thomas’s interior.

The Way of the Cross
This new publication, that combines photographs of the 'Stations' in St Thomas's Church with psalms, readings and prayers from the Divine Office for Holy Week, is now available in the shop.

Stations of the Cross
This service will be held at 19:15 on Fridays during Lent (except 19th March -
see Events).
